For my diploma, I have to make a two weeks training course in a company of ready-made clothes. Its name is Teddy Smith and it is located at Albi in the Tarn. This training course rained me much, although I could not much help the personnel because it is an immense company which counts more than 500 employees and who carries out a sales turnover of 85 million euros for the year 2008. During my training course I analyzed the operation of the company and more particularly the service export because this company realizes 5millions of its turnover abroad. The company has an English distributer which makes them carry out the 3/4 of the turnover abroad. Teddy Smith makes also trade with other countries such as Belgium, Spain and Switzerland. My work during the training course, was to make a study of the market of the textile in Germany. When this work was to finish, I documented myself on Internet and I sought to know some a little more about logistics. Each day, I spent two hours with two women of the service export which to explain me their work in the company. One to deal with finding customers abroad and the other of all papers concerning logistics. Being to give that I do not live in Albi, I have to place myself in a hotel the first week and a monastery the second week. It was really a good experiment to sleep in the sisters. This training course enabled me to be shown once more that English is the language of the trade. To conclude, I can say that I learned much thanks to this training course such as for example: to follow the orders, to make an invoice. It was a training course really enrich.
